Give them a gun...

In all seriousness though, I would talk to a counsellor. Talking is a really big step so if he/she wants to spill out their feelings just listen.

yeh go see someone. I am currently seieng someone now and it helps a GREAT DEAL. They aren't there to judge you, they are there to listen and only give advice. They wont tell you which way to go, but they will you understand why you are feeling the way you do, and they will talk you thru everything. I've gone to two in my whole lifetime (this is my second one) and shes helping so much. She actually is convincing me to join her relationship group therapy..dont be ashamed of going to see a 'shrink' a lot of ppl have one...hell even the therapist have their own therapist

Sit down and talk to him, allow him to realize that you aren't trying to demean him and he'll open up. But, I would seriously seek professional help if you are concerned about him.

Don't blow it off! My brother was Bipolar and he committed suicide a couple of months ago (Dec. 28, 2004). I never thought too much of it at first. He was always depressed for the last 5 years and he decided to drive his eclipse under a 18 wheeler parked on the side of the road. He was only 20! At least talk to him, there are support groups out. Don't wait cause you might regret it.

I'm sorry..my freshmen year at college i lost a friend at PSU. He committed suicide because he was unahpppy with his life and no one was there to listen. No one even noticed his decline...We all regret not seeing it when it was there to see

Read what I wrote after that comment, if you took that comment seriously you really need to grow up.
