I have a 98 Civic and I am about to get a Pioneer in-dash motorized monitor. I can't put it where the radio currently is because it will cover the center air vents (the main vents) when open. Putting it where the Honda tape deck is (by the cup holder) it will be blocked to back seat viewers when shifting.

The only other thing I can think of is to move the vent/ac/heater control console to where the radio is now and putting the monitor there. Any suggestions and pics are welcome.....thanks.

 

LOL I was thinking the same thing since I am looking into getting a DVD player for my car and I was wondering where that monitor could go.

 

how about getting a new radio for the cupholder location and a conventional screen to fill in the double din area??? more custom labor, but that will solve the problem and it's more trick! if you wanted, you could probably relocate the stock unit to save some money or spend it elsewhere.

 

on 99-00 you can put it in the lower din area...
as far as 96-98 you're gonna have to live with it.
