What kind of oil do you use?
Have you tried many oils? which seem to perform the best?
right now im using 10W40 chevron supreme high mileage on my
94' LS 78k, (i live hawaii, very hot) im afraid to go synthetic
cause every time i change the oil theres oil comming from the pan
even after i clean it off,(every oil change i wipe it clean) i dont want to increase my oil leak,
what about synthetic blend? any suggestions would be great
ive only had the car about 5 months.

What ever you do, DO NOT switch to Synthetic !!! You WILL develope leaks or more leaks & will probably start to smoke & burn oil. Stick with 5W-30 & use a high mileage formula if desired. If the oil is leaking from the oil plug change the plug gasket, which should be aluminum, if is dripping from the pan try & re-torque the oil pan bolts

I've been running Castrol GTX 5W30, a full synthetic oil...with Hastings or Wix brand oil filters. The first owner ran Castrol 5W30 synthetic as well, with the older OEM Honda Oil Filters (back when they were made by Purolator(?)).
The car consumes very little oil and no leaks, either.
I'm convinced that synthetic oil and quality filters are worth the expense.
(And a FRAM filter does not equal quality.)
In your case, I'd track down the leak and fix it.(as others stated earlier) ..then switch to 5W30 or 5W40.

I run Mobil1 5w-30 and OEM Honda (Filtech) filters.

The leak appears to be comming from the oil pan, or above the oil pan, its not alot of oil, but i clean the pan off completely, and next oil change it has oil residue all over, (dirt and oil, usually not enough to drip though) so im not really LOSING oil, but i'd like to fix this problem. pls help thanks
