need help with suspention
ok at the time im rolling on NITTO rubber 185/60/HR 14s with arospeed coilovers lowered 2.5 inches. Now with the coilovers my car wont stop bouncing all over the road and the handaling sucks compared to when i had RS*R Invidia springs on it. Now the thing is i want to stay low, about 2.5 inches all around. Would i see a major difference if i upgraded my shocks or should i just maybe buy new springs with new shocks? i saw a package for KYB G-series shocks with neuspeed drag springs for 350.00, so what do you think i should do, i want to be low but with a like stock feel.
Are you running stock shocks right now? If so, your shocks might be blown due to being very low. Getting aftermarket sport shocks will make it less bouncy. Adjustable dampers [higher prices than non adjustables] with the settings on very soft will give you almost the stock feel. Although being low has its disadvantages when it comes to comfort and reliability.

ok i was using stock shocks when i had the springs on and also when i used the coilovers. How can i tell if they are blown, i heard that the coilovers make it bounce like that, i had great handaling when i had the springs were on before the coilovers so im pretty sure there not blown. How much do shops usually charge to get shocks installed also?

if you want to stick with the arospeed coilovers, i would reccommend either koni yellows or tockico illuminas. you'll need a shock with high dampening rates to match the spring rates of the arospeeds. your ride will be rough, but not too bouncy.
did you trim your bumpstops at all? some sleeve coilovers dont use the bumpstops at all.
imo, the only sleeve coilovers worth getting are ground controls. i have them in both my accord and civic, teamed with kyb agx shocks. the ride is amazing, and they handle great too

Lowering your car 2.5 and trying to keep a "stock" feel is going to be pretty difficult. When you're riding that low, you need a pretty stiff shock. You're going to have to sacrifice either one or the other, ride height or comfort. If you're that concerned with ride comfort, perhaps you can get some adjustable shocks so you can adjust the damping rate and see what feels best to you.
