Default Suspention noise

Ok so whenever I turn my wheel all the way to the right there is one loud clunking noise that comes from the wheel well and it clunks again when I turn it back. It is not the noise a broken axle makes kinda sound like the wheel is bouncing up in the wheel well one time and hitting the top. I cannot figure it out.

Hard to tell what it could be. So this sound is coming from the wheel well? Do you feel any type of resistance in the steering wheel itself? Just to throw out a few ideas: tie rods/ends, steering rack? Can't really help you out too much without actually being there.

Edit: just thought about the CV joints. Might be worth taking a look at.

Does the clunking happen while the car is in motion, stopped, or both? Do you get any noises when you go over bumps?

I have a similar issue, its only when I take a hard right so the car is pitched out with alot of weight on the front left, and I hear a clunk when it gets compressed; when it goes over a bump or a dip in the road. Maybe I just shouldn't be cornering that hard on less than perfect surfaces??

I have the same noise. No one can figure out what's making it.
Curry's in Sterling was totally clueless.

Considering taking it to the one in Chantilly cause they're a little more knowledgable about Honda/Acura and they're not snotty.

Anyhow, I hear there are a few things to check:

- Check lower ball joint
- Check the sway bar end links
- Check camber kit for play

I'll let everyone know if I get this fixed.

i'm getting an occasional pop from the front suspension, usually when i exert some sort of force on it (cornering, etc.). in my case, i think it's the ball joints.

We're trying to find the CURE. We already know it's one of these:

- lower ball joint
- sway bar end links
- camber kit

Please read more of the thread before posting.
