I just picked up a turbo n1 canister and i was wondering how much it would cost me to build a custom cat back. Has anyone bought those 30 dollar hi flow cats off ebay? are they any good? and about how much will a shop charge for mandrel bent custom 3" piping?

 

I bought my Carsound 94000 series CAT off ebay for 49 shipped. The 3" is going to be a little more expensive. The charge for 3" mandrel bent pipping is going to be different everywhere. I would say about 200 for pipping, plus 60 labor, plus the n1 can 50$, and say 70 bucks for the cat. Your looking at about high 300's for a custom 3" exhuast, as apposed to 700+ for a name brand.

Secondly, I certainly hope the car to which this 3" custom exhaust will be fitted is indeed turbocharged... because running 3" tubing on an stock Integra will be counter-productive to say the least.
