Idling too low
For my 1996 Integra(automatic), every time I step on the brakes the RPM would go lower and lower as the car slows down. It feels like it is going to stall since the RPM is very low, like a few hundreds. Why is it bogging down like that? Any way to fix it?
It also happens when I shift to reverse gear. It would go real low before rebounding somewhat.
However, I discovered that if the blow fan is turned on, the RPM would normally go slightly higher.

He wouldnt want to adjust the idle, since its only happening when he steps on the brakes...
I had the same problem on my car a while back, but it kind of fixed itself...it went away around the time i replaced the O2 sensor, but i dont see how that can be related, maybe check for a vacum leak or somthing in the brake booster line??? Or any other vacum leaks

I agree...with pirate 252 it sounds like the brake booster is loosing vaccume, somehow I would check the vaccume lines around it, my integra does the same...I havn't really looked into it but probably should
