Default Question for AEM CAI owners

I got an AEM CAI used for a good price, but it has been sitting there collecting dust for about 5 months now....hahahaha...sorry...lazy me.

Anyway, I was wondering where I can get a "kit" to move the windshield washer reservoir tank. Supposedly I have to move this over to the other side if I want the AEM to fit correctly. I have the entire week off for spring break and I scheduled my vacation on the same week....hopefully I have time to do this amongst other things I've been procastinating on.

Thanks for your help.

Doesn't AEM make one specific for the rsx?

Dunno :dunno:

I think they had different generations for the CAI's. Since mine is used...and older...I think I will have to make the "adjustments"

blah...I'll figure it out hehehehe

Yes AEM makes a specific intake for the RSX, but unlike the Injen and the DC Sports CAI, you have to relocate the washer bottle to the other side.

since you got it used im guessing that the guy was too lazy to take off all the relocating equipment and put it back to stock... trust me i looked a couple times and relocating it back is such a pain in the ass, probably even more so than doing it initially... id say contact either DC or AEM and see if u can get seperate hardware for just the kit, if not ask them what parts youwould needs its basic shit u can pick up at a couple stores... sorry i dont recall what it is... but be aware if u do it, you won't want to ever put it back...

I have an AEM CAI, and yes It comes with a kit that I didn't use. It requires drilling, wire extensions, and all kind of B.S. As of right now I have no water sprayers, but check this out, you could buy the water bottle that comes molded for the intake already from DC Sports ( I asked) and I think it's like 20 bucks or something, its what Im planing on doing, and It will save you a headache.
