We swapped it out for a D15B because the rod bearings were going bad. It would knock on startup. I'm wondering if I should part it out or rebuild it and sell it whole... thoughts?
Hmmm... rod bearings aren't that expensive though. What I'm really worried about is that the kid wasn't very nice to it and maybe he wore down the rod journal so it's not fixable... I'll probably part it out. I think I could make more on it that way anyhow. :chuckles:
eh..I would fix it...but thats just me..I would love to have a motor to tear down and play with...hell if you can find somebody that wants to build up a motor you could get them to pay you to tear it down and fix it and maybe put in new rods, pistons etc....but thats just me... I love workin on stuff.
