Default Help: Goodridge Lines Installed (Pics)

Ok, kind of a stupid question but I was wondering if anyone had pics of their goodridge lines installed (mainly on the front).

I don't need to know necessarily how to install them, I've already done that. I'm more concerned with where the slack should be and where to place that semi-clear rubber sleeve on the fronts.

The goodridge lines have those free floating brackets and this 1 inch rubber sleeve that hugs the line pretty snug. I just want to make sure I got the slack in the right spots so theres no tension on the lines as the suspension moves through its range of motion. Also should the rubber sleeve be slid against one of the brackets to keep the line from slipping back and forth through the bracket or should it be placed somewhere on the line to keep it from rubbing or wearing on something?

I just put the slack where it would go and the little rubber sleeve where the line could lean back and rub against the spindle. Sorry I didn't take any pics and it's gone above freezing once in the last 3 weeks so probably no pics anytime soon. You can basically visual the range of motion nessicary to keep it from binding when the suspension flexes and the wheels go from lock to lock, so make sure there's enough slack there.

The rubber sleeve I put where it rubs against the knuckle. I assume that's what it was for. Just split the difference in slack on either side of the plastic bracket. There's not much that will crunch it down there, just use your imagination.

Did not want to waste space on another thread.

94 civic dx coupe. Put on gsr or ex coupe rear disc's, dx OEM front and needed some info. On steel lines, are dx front brake lines the same as ex or am i going to have to get 2 sets of lines?? Asking about the banjo fitting on the back of the caliper.

Noy sure but I have GSR rears and EX fronts. I got the kit for the EX w/ rear disc and no ABS and everything fit fine. The front lines were angled coming off of the banjo and I needed it to be straight but it still worked. I just had to have the angle kick out away from the caliper because the other way around would cause it to press against the caliper too much.

Anyhow, I think the main difference between a DX or an EX is the size of the fronts rotor and caliper but the banjo fitting is the same size and should work just fine. I'll post pics of my kit so you can get an idea.
