Default struts

someone told me i had an adjustable supension system that i could lower it and raise it?? how would i go about doing that raising it back up?? does anybody know?? it is on a 94 honda civic.

first..find out what kind of sleeved coilover setup you have.

most applications either uses two fork type keys or an allen wrench to adjust height.

all ya gotta do is turn the spring base so its higher up on the threaded body
you should have a special too to do it, that kinda looks like a outward-bent hook
If you dont, you can use vice-grips...

ok i just took my front two tires off, there is a blue spring and at the bottom something that looks like a bolt is that what i turn??? and is it the same with the back???

it will look like a nut rather than a bolt
the spring sits on the nut
turn that

Ok, heres a cheap quick diagram:
See the ==='s are the shock body
the || are the spring seats/'nuts' that are threaded onto the shock
NNN is the spring
} is the strut cap

turn the ||'s (spring seats) so the spring compresses and raises the vehicle

cool that makes since, i can just use a pair of visegrips for that? thanks again man.
