Default Replacing lug bolt :(

So the guy who last worked on my car (or me, not too sure) overtorqued, or did something bad to one of the lugs on my front wheel, and it stripped about 3/8" off the top of my bolt when I took it off today while I was doing my brakes.

Is there a way I can fix this myself, or will I have to take it in to a shop? I'd considered just using a sawz-all and cutting the stripped part off, and just putting a new lug on there, but I dunno how safe that is.

Any thoughts/comments? :happysad:

My pops just called and said that exact same thing I guess I need to take the disc off, take it to a shop and have em press the busted one out, and then put the new one in. He said it wasn't too much work, though. So if he's helping me it shouldn't be too bad.

Guess I gotta just take it slow around the corners for the tiem being :happysad:

Thanks, Joe

no problem white...my friend has a 95 ex and he stripped off 2 lugs on his front right wheel and he drove around for about 10 miles and took a turn a little too quick and we saw the wheel across the street and the car was a little lop-sided pretty funny experience though but not fun if its your car

I guess I'll take it real easy around corners, and only drive to places I need to. parts store, and g/f's house.

I actually went to Autozone and then I went to the Honda dealership. I got the stud for 1.69, and the nut for 2.80. But tomorrow I'm gonna try and get it all done so I don't have to worry about it
