Default air suspension/ performance driving

I have a friend with a v6 accord who is considering putting an air suspension on his car. Will this affect the cars drivability negatively?

Ya, air cylinders will not be good for performance. I did read something in one of the new magazines about a new set of cylinders that they're using on the track for the WRX. Not sure if they're made for honda/acura yet.

I briefly read that article too. I belive it cost them a penny to get it, and it was a bitch to put them on.

Air suspension will (in my opinion) not replace a good coilover/shock setup.

First it's extra weight (tank, hoses, air suspension), and for racing applications you want a lighter car NOT heavier. Secondly I believe coilover suspensions adapt quicker than air would. Imagine fluid running through hoses and how long that would take to respond to changing suspension on the road.
