Default Subwoofer Question?

I know this should be in the Audio/Electronics forum but I am not getting any replies. Mods you can close this if it is really neccesary

I recently purchased a 1000 Watt Polk 12" MOMO Subwoofer and a Polk Momo 850 Watt 2 channel Amp. If you are wondering why I got a 2 channel amp, don't worry I am going to have it bridged to 550x1. I am wondering if that will be enough bass? Or do you think I should get an additional sub? This is not going to be for show or anything so I am not going to go crazy on it. I just want to be able to feel the bass.

Please post your opinions.

I had a 12" MTX 8000 in a sealed box with a 400watt amp.... was almost too much.

I have one Kicker CVR-104 and a JBL 220w monoblock amp, and that's plenty enough for my hatch. Of course, I believe that when I listen to music, the people in my car should be the only one to hear it, but the system has enough power to make my whole hatch vibrate and rattle like mad
