Default which set up is better

i was wondering if i put a 2001 gsr block on a 99 CTR head would it run faster being that the ctr block is a 1.6 compared to the gsr block being a 1.8? or should i keep my ctr the way it is now by not switching the head? any comments will be appreciated.

Yes, you could do that. However, the blocks are actually the same and all you'd really be swapping would be crank, rods, and pistons.
