They seem to start in the same general neighborhood but usually you start about two to four thousand less than you actually drive off with.

Just thought I'd throw that in there.

I'm sure the sport models have power windows. something those same-priced civics lack. add any other amenities the fit would have over the civic dx/vp, and there you go.

don't forget the fit is a 5 door hatchback not a sedan or coupe

also the sport model adds better stereo, fog lights, body kit, paddle shifters for AT transmissions, bigger wheels

i'm looking into getting one (trade in the Element when we relocate this summer)...but it had drum rear brakes which i don't like as i will track the car somewhat

i'm going to wait for the Civic Si sedan to get a good look at it or the new Accord that comes out soon (i need 4 doors)

i like my e...i've been driving like a grandma and getting 26mpg on average even with mostly city traffic (i shut the engine off at long lights and coast down hill or following traffic...i'd not go over 60mph b/c that just guzzles gas in something aerodynamic as a refrigerator box)

it's nice...i just pulled out 4 bushes from my front yard with a long chain...just jumped the curb and yank these big ole bushes with 3" tap roots (it would take me an hour each with my pick and hatchet to get this sucker out)

anyway...once i'm at the new place i'm getting a shitty old chevy van that'll be for junk and hauling duties...even towing what track car i get next

the fit or civic si sedan would by my daily driver and once in a while track partner when i don't want to drive the dedicated one (moving to KC and heartland park topeka is an hour away)
