Default h22a vtec problems

hey guys im having a big problem. i have a h22a swapped into my accord for the past 2 years. all has been great. The car is quick. Recently from one day to the next i dont hear the v-tec kicking in. My vtec controller shows that it kicks in, when i test the solenoid its getting power, when i put power to the solenoid i hear it click. So i dont know what to do or what it could be> Could someone please help. Im getting so frustrated with this situation, i feel like im driving a regular prelude. Please feel free to e-mail me as-well at jrocha98@aol.com. Thnx.

check your oil level. if your oil level is full, then remove the solenoid and inspect the screen filter.
