that's nuts. some people do that crazy stuff just so it can be done. please please try to get pictures to post, that would be awsome. i dont remember what magazine it was, but a while back they made a crx project car to compete with the nissan/ toyota drift squads. it was going to have a custom tube frame with a 3.0 liter nsx engine in it. that blew me away. some people do weird things just cause they can.

my buddy has an LS1 350 chevy motor in his 93 eagle talon. thing is the ultimate sleeper. he disconnected the all wheel drive and converted the rear drive so it is compatible with the v-8 trans. will try to get picture up soon.

350 guys are crazy, they will try and put that engine into anything. I don't know alot about the engine, but it must be a decent platform to have such a loyal following...

It is one of the best engines ever made. Hell, they started making them in the 50's and are still producing them today (Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, and most of their trucks) are using LS1's or LT1's. Gotta hand it to a design that can withstand 50 years of production and still be the top in its class.

i went to a car show a while back and i saw this old-school vw beetle with a 350 shoved in the front of it....it was too big for the car so it had no hood and was sticking out of the engine compartment

350's are the most easily modifyable engines out there and you can get any part ever made for them for pretty cheap. The things you can do to them are limitless. Definitely a quality engine
