Default JDM ITR 5 Lug Conversion on 99 Civic SI - HELP

Hey everyone,

I about to get a JDM ITR 5 lug conversion for my 99 Civic SI.

I been told I will run into problems with my SI axles?

I was told that the JDM ITR 5 lug use a 36mm axle, while the USDM ITR and any other B series car uses a 32mm axle?

Can anyone shed some light on this??
I dont want to tear down my car and find out that I'm going to need more parts to get the 5 lug workin on my SI.

Has anyone used a JDM ITR 5 lug conversion before with stock USDM B Series axles?

And if they are different, does anyone know where I can get JDM axles? or should I just go buy the USDM Hubs from acura? I guess all I would have to change would be the front hubs and maybe the bearrings??

Thanks in Advance for the help.

DK

Maybe the axle nut for some odd is requires a 36 mm socket, but i don't see why it would be a 36 mm axle

hell look at all the jdm itr swap in usdm civic's.

no jdm itr hub's needed...

Well, if you are getting the 5 lug conversion off a jdm integ type R, then you will need the axles from the jdm teg. only the usdm tegs 5 lug will fit with your current si axles. one of my friends who did the conversion ran into this problem.

Just to let you know

I dont have the JDM Axles.

I think the guy sold them with the SWAP.

Is there any place I can get a set of JDM ITR Axles????

Is it possible to just swap out the HUB, that part the axles goes into with a USDM piece.???

Thanks

for $300 u can probably go to acura and buy hubs and not have to owrry when u break an axle that u have to spend $300 and wait a month for axles
