Default D15b7 Mini Me Swap....D16y8??

Yes I'm another person asking questions about this "Mini Me" Swap.....

I have a d15b7 and want to swap a d16y8...

I've heard of many doing the d15b7 from a d16z6 but not from a d16y8....

Like this info I have....

Here is the shopping list of parts you need when using a D15B7 (92-95 DX engine)

D15B7 block
D16Z6 head
D16Z6/D16Y8 head gasket (the D16Y8 headgasket is almost 1/2 the size of the Z6, so it will up the compression some)
Civic VX timing belt
Civic HX spark plugs (not required but recomended)
D16Z6 ecu
D16Z6 intake manifold (including fuel rail and injectors)
D16Z6 distributor

BUt I'm putting a d16y8 tranny and ACT clutch on my car in a week or two and was thinking of doing this swap too.

Does anyone have any info on the d15b7 to d16y8 head.....???

Can I use a D16z6 Wiring harness to hook up the v-tech in the D16y8 head?

Please let me know...

Thanks

I just did the swap for one of my friends and looks like you got everything. His VTEC screams when he took it for a spin around the block. You can use the z6 wiring to wire up the VTEC.
