cant remember the site i'll post it if i can find the pic, but it was of all kinds of ways people blew out their engines, some people had valves stuck into the top of the pistons, some had the whole sidewall torn off with other debris, but 1 guy "accidentally" dropped a BB in the manifold and it tore the shit outta the piston, that thing had so many holes in it i could hardly recognize it

I know someone that has one. It looks like a tiny fake intercooler, which is basically waht it is. There is, in fact, a piece of Acrylic in front of the filter, so it doesn't force a damn thing in. I truley believe that it worthless, except for the fact that it looks different. And if you wanna buy something for asthetic reasons, then it's for you. That is, however, unless you think it looks tacky. Then it would just be completely useless in all aspects.

Ask yourself this dude....If your paying 95 bucks for it.....is it really going to be quality made?, or even work at all for that matter? An AEM Cold air intake doesn't even give you that much HP, and it's almost 300 bucks. If you asked me, you've been robbed without a gun. Your probably better off with your stock intake and filter.

Think about this... the purpose of an intercooler is to cool air that has been pulled from inside the engine compartment, then compressed (which heats it up).... You exchange heat from that hot, compressed, engine compartment air, with the relatively cooler ambient air outside your car. On top of that, it still doesn't cool that hot air down to the temperature of ambient air.

So, why would you take ambient air... and then "cool" it with ambient air that is the same temperature as the air you're pulling. Crap like this is 1.) ricey and 2.) completely ineffective at its inferred use and finally 3.) providing a restriction for air going over your radiator and causing you to lose its thermal efficiency.

Save the cash and get a cold air intake.
