Will this result in the same steering system as the stock non-power steering? I ask because I've owned a non 91 Civic Si and now own one with power steering and I hate it too. I just want it to feel just like my old car.

dont just remove the lines, you need to cap that shit off, or the rack will not be properly lubricated, and its good, but steering wheel returnability is compromised a bit. I personally hate PS.

But the linkages are the same, i.e. the number of turns and everything? Is the heaviness the same, lighter or heavier?

compared to your old car...i have no idea, the steering will probobly be heavier, since this one was designed to haev PS, and there for may be a bit quicker

your steering rack is mean for power steering. look into getting a manual steering rack(most likely was in your old car) so you can get some better drivability out of the car.

I too removed the PS from my 00 EX and absolutely love it. I just cut my lines and removed the pump and haven't experienced any problems. I thought about replacing it with a true manual rack, but all the ones that are available (CX, DX hatch) have a shorter truning radius in comparison to the SI/EX power rack.

Just loop the high pressure lines... you probably want to drain some of the power steering fluid. You can also run a breather and drain majority of the PS fluid, it will make turning a bit easier since you're not pushing air & PS fluid back and forth.

You'll be fine with running less ps fluid, if you look in the helms, check out what is actually lubricated by the fluid, it'll make sense to you.
