you know i had an idea to put the drivetrain from the old AWD civic wagons into my 90 Crx Si. the thing that is stopping me is that im not exactly sure if that would work for one, and i've never seen how the setup is under the car, (like the drive shaft placement). also i was wondering is the transmission on those is all time AWD or just in low gear? i hope someone out there can help me. it would be much appreciated. thanks!

 

It's been thought of before. The body shell of the CRX is too different from the civic for it to be even remotely feasible with out massive fabrication.
