civic conversion problems!!! HELP.... quote:

I have a D16A SOHC non-vtec engine, i bought a D15B SOHC VTEC engine. I used the 1.5 vtec head on my 1.6 block. What kind of car is this swap in? Where did you get the D15B (sorry, not familiar with the older generations of engines). I'm assuming it's a JDM engine. You need to give more info, sorry.

 

I don't know how you could really tell (other than hooking up one of those silly vtec lights) when vtec 'engages' on a d15/16 anyway.

Explain the symptoms more.
