swap help?

Default swap help?

anyone tell me what years of the b series cars will directly interchange with a 97 civic dx with a 5 spd.?i found a 91 integra gs with 65000 miles...everything for 400.00 is that good?not good/? how can i find the hp rating for that?

depending on where you live and if you have a hook up or not you are going to have to use a 97 or higher motor to pass emmissions testing. I am not positive but the 91 intergra engines may have used cable trans if you get the 91 you will have to get a b-sereis trans that is hydro so your best bet is to go with a 97 or higher motor and trans

I agree... you should really swap in an engine of the same year of higher if you want to make sure to pass emissions. Additionnaly by doing so.. you'll make things easier on yourself if you get the same year motor since most of the connectors on the engine harness will be the same with the exception of the altenator, crank speed fluctuation sensor, and the Idle Air Valve connectors.
