Default Injector and Rail question!

Okay if i got upgraded injectors than my stock d16a6 injectors would i notice any gain? whats the cc for stock? 250cc? also if i got the AEM fuel rail would i notice any more power? what if i got both of these and added them on at the same time, would i notice a lot or nothing or a little? thanks!

you will notice nothing....skip the rail and injectors for now. i think stock for all tegs and civics were 240 cc.

well soon in the summer i'm doing a mini-me swap.. you think i need them for that if i use my IM?

Swapping to a higher flow-rate fuel injector and a "big bore" fuel rail in and of itself does not make you more power. It increases the capacity of your fuel system to deliver fuel to the motor. In their stock configuration, most Honda motors tend to run rich so you're not going to make more power by just adding more fuel.

Answers to your mini-me swap questions that depends on what year your car is, and since it doesn't say it in your profile I can't give you an answer yet.

nah zivicase ur not gonna really want to upgrade ur fuel system until u have a need for greater fuel flow, ie boost, nitrous, increased air density. kinda like an intake, u dont see gains unless its something that is restricting you.

alright.. thanks

mr.fat i have an 88 crx si engine.

and also i wanna go turbo too with the mini-me swap just like the greddy stage 1 turbo kit... nothing special just more power. would i need bigger injectors then?

Absolutely with a turbo set up ur going to have a demand for more fuel coming thru the rail and better injectors to get it there faster ,but until u get the turbo ready to go id say hold off, and save ur money.
