So, some more info, just in case anyone else runs into my problem.
on the civic
OBD2a: 96-98
OBD2b: 99-00
the headers are completely different, I'm sure they are interchangable if you swap the whole thing (collecters+a-pipe).
But you cannot swap the a-pipe off of an OBD2a onto an OBD2b collector. You will be missing the o2 sensor location, but more importantly, they will not bolt together, there is a very subtle bolt pattern difference of maybe 1/8 inch.
Good news, is that the OBD2a header as a whole appears slightly bigger
Cheap mod.
this shit was just to quiet my exhaust leak until I get my turbo installed, feh.
OH well, i'll take the time with the header off, to test turbo fitment tomorrow, W00T.
