Default Cable Clutch HELP!!!

Okay i have experienced when i get on the throttle and hit redline and pop the clutch in then drive normal, my clutch pedal gets really really easy to push in... then after driving normal (shifting before 4k) it goes back to normal feel.... then if i get on it again at high rpms it goes looser and looser than it goes back to normal after normal driving....

since i have a cable clutch, should i even attempt to turn my cable tensioner? (sp) ??? or should i not mess with it at all and this is perfectly normal? fyi - the clutch has around 9k on it and professionally installed... also i don't beat on the clutch that much, i never rev than drop, i just shift at redline a lot and stuff.... thanks to anyone who posts something that will help me!

Try turning the plastic adjuster a few turns counter clockwise to get some more freeplay.

counter clockwise will take some tension out of the cable, if the clutch is out of adjustment and being held under tension, it'll let the pressure plate hold fully on the clutch disk
