head swapping?

i have a friend with a 98 accord 4cyl. he says hes gonna swap an h22a head onto it. is this possible? how do you go about swapping a dohc onto a sohc. i told him im not sure if it would work or not. let me know what you guys think.

the h22 is a hard swap on to a f22 the h23 head is a very easy swap and all you really neede is a modified water pump, and a prelude ecu.

this is acctually the f23. but still the same it is possible right. the ecu should still work but not as well. i thought all vtec ecus would work on any vtec head. just not to thier potential. if i have been missinformed please let me know.

i don't know much about the f and h series motors but

sohc to dohc doesn't seem possible..

your friend would be better off swapping the whole h22 in there. with the money he's spend trying to get a h22 head to work on an f23 he could buy 3 or 4 h22's
