Default Short Ram Intake?

Question to all,
Would putting in an Injen short ram make my engine much louder than it is? I don't want it to make too much noise especially in the cabin. I've sat in someones car with a lot of engine work and there is this constant drone when he drives. Would an intake do the same or would it be less obvious? I like it quite in the cabin, well as quiet as a Civic gets. Thanks for your advice.

the only time you'll notice the noise is when you step on the gas at higher rpms - then it will get quite loud, especially if you have a vtec engine. When you cruise down the road you won't really notice it at all - I would highly recommend a cold air intake for your car - they work much better and give you more power b/c the shortram intakes will draw in hot air from under the hood which means less power. They're worth the extra money, but can be more difficult to install.
