I bought a JDM EJ22T for ASAP motors out of Houston Texas on 1/5/06. The motor isn't on it's way, I keep getting hung up on when I call them.
Looks like they're registered on rip-offs.com and they've had past customers file complaints at the BBB.... stupid me, I should've researched them first.

I bought my 1991 b16a in 2001 from Metric Motors. I actually bought it through Landspeed racing. The valve cover looked rough, but the engine runs strong. One week after the install, which is in a 1991 civic hatch, it ran a 14.7 @ 94 mph. The engine came with cable tranny (non LSD), and a Zdyne ECU. The civic had everything stripped out of it. Including the sound deadening tar on the floor. One seat and a dashboard. The car had a powercore header, homemade intake, and stock exhaust, which blew that night. Everything shipped was 1300.00. The car had 1 1/2 years off since then, but runs the same. I would recommend them anyday.
I figured I should edit this post, because I can't find landspeed racing on the web anymore. In that year and a half off, things have changed.

I went to Nippon-Motors.com. Some guy named Robert helped me out with selecting my front clip. They have a lot of front clips in very good condition. I was able to get a lot of parts off of my front clip. I was even thinking of converting my civic right hand drive but too much work. The fenders were in good condition. I also got a japanese license plate, japanese coins (under the carpet), LSD tranny, etc. Robert turned on the engine on a couple of front clips with fluid starter. I recommend them big time.

I bought my 96 h22a1 from www.motorworks.com of ny... i ordered it and it came in practically mint condition..a little expensive..i paid roughly $2,400. Motor has under 45,000 miles on it. If i had to buy again i would use them. i'm having www.trickengineering.com of nh drop the motor in.Should be complete in just a few weeks. Motor is going into a 92 civic hatch.
