Default Question about engine stroke.

Just wondering If I needed a new crank for a B18B1 block, etc. would a crank from a B18A1 work? I've heard that the strokes on both cranks are different. Upto 2mm difference is what i was told. I would expect a difference in a B18C1 GSR motor, but didn't know there was a stroke difference in the A1 and B1 cranks.

I'm not aware of any difference, and the two have precisely the same displacement.

I'll poke around, but unless I find definitive evidence otherwise, I would assume that the strokes are identical.

They should be the same, since they have the same displacement, and the b18a1 and the b18b have the same cylinder bore...the only other factor in displacment besides cylinder bore is the stroke.
