Default d16y8 header options

I need to replace my header, because the donut gasket for my new catalytic convertor won't fit due to old welds on the old header.

My cat cracked, and I took the oppurtunity to bolt up a high-flow.

What are my options for a d16y8 exhaust manifold (header?).

I understand the B-series stuff won't work. Will other D-series stuff work? I don't mind at all going stock, I want to know what my options are...

Ideally if someone said I higher flowing GSR header would work, that'd be nice, but I'm pretty sure B-D series stuff doesn't swap.

thanks

Most of the D series stuff will interchange - you probably want to look for a 4-2-1 header from DC sports - they're pretty nice quality. If you want to save money, go with a junkyard manifold from a D16Z6 (92-95 ex,si) or one of those other cheapy taiwan headers.

Any aftermarket Z6/Y8 header will work fine. You can use an OEM Z6 manifold, but the Z6's have shallower oil pans, and it'll rub in one spot. You can file it down right there, but it'll still touch. Don't ask me how I know this

That's an OEM B16A2(99-00 Si) header, it won't fit an SOHC.

Hey PHiZ, I replied to your PM before I read this so I guess you can disregard it but just to let you know if you didn't already, you can get the SOHC RSR SS header for a pretty good price.

Where? I hate doing searches for RS*R stuff, cause it messes up just about every search engine, hahahah
