Civic EX vs Integra GSR?
Hey I like both cars alot, I was just wondering which would win in a race if they were both stock? Which one is easier to upgrade and make faster? Thanx any info would be great.

A GSR will absolutely rape an Eclipse RS or GS. Now a turbo eclipse is more of a match, but stock for stock I've seen a GSR win against the turbo more times than the turbo won. But a civic EX stands no chance at all.

just cause a car has more HP and weighs less...doesnt mean it will out run someone..vehicle aerodymanic and .gear ratios have a lot to do with a car acceleration..
You don't need a GS-R... A stock LS can beat a Civic EX or N/A Eclipse with no problem.
Integra definately... It has great reliability and great handling. Going fast in a straight line may be fun at first, but there's a lot more fun and a lot more skill in the curves.
If you want a dragster get an Eclipse, muscle car, etc.
Integras are fast mostly because of their short gearing and high rev'ing engines. Their short gearing makes the little torque they have to go a long way, and their high redline allows the use of short gearing without compromising top gear speeds. Honda did a great job with the Integra, but 1.8L can only go so far; more displacement = more potential.
However, even though the Integra's handling is already pretty good, there's still plenty of untapped potential, imo. I think it's a lot easier and cheaper to make an Integra corner even better than it is to make it super fast.
