Default JUN valve springs too stiff ??

I have b18c1, and Im putting in JUN valve springs and retainers and skunk2 stage 2 cams (whose specs are almost exact same as JUN Stage 3). I was just curious if these springs going to be too stiff for the cam lift ???

well from what ive heard, it is better to stay all skunk2 or all jun simply because the stiffness etc is matched for each other, did you already buy all the stuff or not?

just from logic, i would assume, considering the JUN stg 3 == Skunk2 stg2 approx. that there shouldn't be a problem.

I could understand if the specs were heavily off, then I would have a problem. But, considering the lift and duration of the cams and similarities in the specs that I shouldn't have a problem ?

Cam lobe wear is directly affected by spring stiffness, that is why most people recommend matching valves/springs/cams all with the same manufacturer. But if the JUN springs aren't much stiffer than the recommended skunk2 springs then I seriously doubt it would matter. You've got to figure that the cam alloys and spring stiffness are both hi-po. What about the valves? are you going to change them?

well I dont think there is much power to be offered beyond that high of rpms anyways. And if you take it up to or higher than that RPMs youll have to worry bout more than just the valves lol
