i have a 93 ls b18a1 in my 5th gen hatch, the motor and the car are both obd1 so it should be a straight up swap has anyone else done this??? my car revs up and down for like 10-15 seconds then the check engine light goes on and it revs down and runs perfect.. there are 4 wires on a clip that are not plugged in because there is no wire on the harness for them..., the wires on an integra that go to it come from behind the firewall into the interior so my civic one doesnt??? what can i do i need help real bad!!

 

does the check engine light stay or go away? do you know how to pull the check engine code on that one or is it possible? Did you do the swap yourself or did you have someone who does swaps do it? Cause it sounds like it is having problems on the startup which can be attributed to those wires you are talking about. I thought if it both were obd1 everything would stay the same......also, maybe the harness for those wires on your civic are located somewhere else different than the integra and you need to get a harness that will reach to that place....
