Grifter,
I'm not certain they would use Honda oil...it might be whatever they can get in quantity cheaply. You'll have to get it in writing if you want Honda oil.
As far as quality, I'm sure for the cost you can do better. Is it still an SH oil? If they still charge ~$2 a bottle, I'd go with PennZoil. You might want to poke around on this BBS and see if anyone has done any oil analysis on Honda oil.
Heh, the other problem, IMO is having the stealership change your oil. They won't pay the kind of attention you will to your car. At each oil change, I check over things like CV boot condition, coolant level, brake pad thickness...there are all kinds of things for you to do while the oil is draining. So to me, that wouldn't be a selling point at all.

100 percent gaurantee they're not using Honda oil. That stuff's bloody expensive, they're not gonna use it, because then they'd have to charge you 10 bucks a quart to make a profit. They're most likely using one of two brands; Pennzoil, or Valvoline.

GTX is cheap, but fine. If you trust dealership monkeys with your car, make em change it like every 2k.
