I know it would prolly be easier to drop in an obd1 b18b into the 92 CX, But I can get a good deal on an obd2 b18b.
Was the wiring hard?
This will be my first engine swap.
Any advise from you people who have done this?

 

Just a word of caution, My first swap was a 99 b16a2 into a 95 coupe. The guy i was doing the swap for switched the stock obdII engine harness for a gsr obdI harness and ran an obdI ecu.........DONT DO THIS!!!! the motor never ran right and i looked like an ass because it looked like i had no idea what i was doing! I dont have much expirience with the obdII setup and its ease of intstall into a obdI car but i would just suggest looking harder for an obdI motor, trust me its so much easier. I just swapped my d16z6 motor for a b18c and the swap was as straightforward as it gets, and it runs like i never thought my car would!!!!! definately worth it!!!!

just get an obd1 b18b1. it all plugs in. u don't have to add one wire.

 

OBD I swap will make your life easier. If you search around, you should be able to find one.
