OK, I get it. Sounds like a lot of unnecessary work to me. Even if you save a couple hundred, will it be worth the hassle?

He's changing the tranny when the motor is OUTSIDE of the car. Not hassle at all...Sounds like a good plan to me.

I just mean the hassle of finding a buyer and shipping a tranny and all that. I've had a hell of a time selling parts in the past... I just prefer a simple opperation over a complicated one.

Ok i got a question....i have a 95 Civic DX AUTO and im going to buy a B16A that comes with a MANUAL tranny...can i just unbolt my AUTO and put in my MANUAL or do i need other parts...? YES I AM A NOOBIE AT THIS SHIT...

to my knowledge...the b18c NEVER came with an automatic tranny.

Unfortunately no,B series and D series heads,blocks,and trannies don't bolt up.You wouldn't want to use a D seires tranny on a B series motor anyway.You need a B tranny to go with the motor.along with a couple of the mounts and the axles,shiftlinkage and ECU.But you can get auto B16A's,and it is just as easy a swap as the manual.

to my knowledge...the b18c NEVER came with an automatic tranny.
I didn't either,till I saw one.
