i got a GSR brake setup ready to be put in, but I need a proportioning valve. i've heard i need the 40/40 valve. which ones would bolt into my 92 civic dx?

94-00 RS/LS w/o ABS?

88-91 EX Civic?

92-95 Civic Si w/o ABS?

i need avg. pricing on them new and used also so i know what to look for. TIA.

Default What's up?

I used the one from an Si hatch with much success. I bought it for $20 from a friend who was junking his wrecked Si. I've never seen a non-ABS Integra's prop valve, but most Integra's and EK civic's have a flat style one while the EG's have a dog bone looking thing. I'd probably try to find an Si unit if possible? Good luck. Seeya.

I used a non-abs integra one (from a 92-93 teg). Everything fit in fine and works properly, but one of the bolts to attatch it to the firewall doesn't line up, so its held in there by one bolt. Feels sturdy enough, its attatched to a bunch of metal pipes, so I can't imagine it would ever work itself loose or anything. Cost somewhere around $20-$35 (dont really remember) at the local junkyard.
