Default lowering compression from 12:1

I was just wondering if there are any cheap ways to lower your compression without changing the pistons (type R aleady and dont want to change). I have heard of people stacking head gaskets, but im not to sure about that. if anyone has done that please tell how many you stacked and how many it would take to lower the compression .5 (11.5 CR) by the way this just needs to last me for about... 600mi.

94 bottom end from Integra LS
Bottom end was balanced to 10,000rpm
type-r pistons on shot-peened modified LS rods.
All gaskets, seals and bearings were replaced with Honda factory parts on whole engine.
SRP Head Studs
jap spec, b16a tranny, with limited slip diff.
ACT Extreme Clutch, (stage 3, i think), street/strip edition
b16a jap spec head
Type R Valve springs
Type R Intake Cam
Type R exhaust Cam
Skunk2 Adjustable cam gears
Ecu chipped with skunk2 program
Apexi Vtec controller
msd shift light
msd 6al ignition system with blaster coil
engine compression is 12:1 N/A

You can get a thicker Cometic gasket.

Adding gaskets is a kludge. The right way to do it is to increase combustion chamber size. Any good automotive machine shop should be able to do it for you. I don't advise that you do this yourself unless you have all the correct tools for measuring chamber volume etc. and the knowledge of where to remove material safely. If you did, you wouldn't be asking, so take it to a pro.

Enter your setup into this calculator and figure out what gasket thickness will get you to your target c/r:
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c...c/compcalc.php
Your OEM gasket should be about 0.029-0.030", and Cometic gaskets are available in 0.025, 0.030, 0.040, 0.054, 0.067, 0.078, 0.098, and 0.120. For example, a 0.054" gasket would yield a c/r of about 11.2:1

Uh... doing some quick math, I'm wondering how your CR is 12:1. With JDM ITR pistons, b18b block, and b16 head, you should be around 11.6:1. Is your head milled?

I played with the options and selecting a B18A/B block, PR3 head, and CTR pistons, you get close to 12:1 with a stock head gasket.
