Default lowering compression from 12:1

I was just wondering if there are any cheap ways to lower your compression without changing the pistons (type R aleady and dont want to change). I have heard of people stacking head gaskets, but im not to sure about that. if anyone has done that please tell how many you stacked and how many it would take to lower the compression .5 (11.5 CR) by the way this just needs to last me for about... 600mi.
