Default Need help seperating harness plugs...

I know this will sound cheesily simple but I just can't seperate the engine harness plugs and the ABS harness plugs without worrying about damaging them. I can hear a click when I press on the "levers" but i can't just slide them apart. What's the secret to doing this?

They have those little weather-seal o-rings in there to keep moisture out. Some of them are a bit stubborn. Just make sure you've engaged the locking mechanism and give em a good tug. Try to pull ont he plugs themselves, and not the wires. Or, you can try engaging the locking mechanism, then prying the plugs apart carfully with a flathead screwdriver.

This is a super late reply but thanks Chris. For the sake of information, I also found out that taking the plugs off the bracket makes it a whole lot easier to pull them apart. Of course, I'm probably one of the only noobs who didn't realize this... h:

Some of the brackets actually hold the plugs together.
