They have those little weather-seal o-rings in there to keep moisture out. Some of them are a bit stubborn. Just make sure you've engaged the locking mechanism and give em a good tug. Try to pull ont he plugs themselves, and not the wires. Or, you can try engaging the locking mechanism, then prying the plugs apart carfully with a flathead screwdriver.
