Jrsc ?
What is the maximum amount of boost that you can run with a Jackson supercharger? I was kinda hoping for the 20 lbs of boost range. I plan on doing all of the pistons,rods,re-sleeve the cylinders and lots of head work(p&p,valve springs, shim it,and of the sort). Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's not going to come close to pushing 20 pounds of boost. Even if it could flow that much air the amount of heat created would kill any horsepower increase.
If you're going to do that much internal work you should go with a turbo.

boom!!
after a certain point, i'm not sure exactly, somewhere around the 15 lbs of boost range, the jrsc has to spin so fast that it builds up a ton of heat causing the fins in the sc to start to expand and end up colliding with each other, then your poor little supercharger will be dead.....d...e....d.....dead!
there maybe some supercharger kits that are capable of 20lbs of boost but i'm not sure if they make them for imports and i'm sure that the jrsc wont be able to do it.
plus you'd never be able to get it to hook up off the line, i have enough trouple running 9lbs, unless you're planning on running full out slicks.

this proposed set up is going on a JDM B18C1 with parts such as:
CAI,headers, catback exhaust,9.0-9.1 low compression pistons, crower connecting rods, upgraded fuel rail, fuel pump, and injectors,11mm plug wires, ignition amp,u/d pulleys, cam gears,re-sleeved block, and debating titanium valve springs and shimming it. Thats all that I have listed for my proposed engine set up. If you have any suggestions/comments, they are welcome.

i just want to get some opinions, and get everything straight before i go and buy all of this stuff and realize a better way to do something. I would like to run a big turbo with lots of boost. I'm still kinda of a noob I guess you can say. Still learning about all of this stuff but I know a lot of stuff already.

Well, honestly, I would like my car to do low 11's high 10's. Thats my ultimate goal. Money is and isnt an issue. I will put however much money in(to a certain extent) I have to but I will have to save up for it. I think I will have to draw the line at most 18,500. I still have 3 years of full time college left to pay for.
