Default Off the way Q???

I'm looking at buying a CTR block and since a CTR block is a destroked ITR block (don't make me find the deminsion :O) couldn't I fesibly put a B18C1 or C5 crank in it and change the rods to GSR/ITR connecting rods???

yes, but why? you'd be better off just buying a GSR block... it would be cheaper.

I can get a CTR short block for under $1000. Pistons and everything...I can't find a clean condition B18C(anything) for under $1500, then I'd have to go and buy pistons etc, I can buy a good GSR crank for about $300 W/ the connecting rods...SOOOOO will this work?
