well my best bet would be to get the greddy with the intercooler and addons. then take it to a ghetto smog place that didnt know much, and id just say "see man, look greddy turbo is smog legal, heres the carb number," then i doubt he would even notice the addons werent legal

Aftermarket BOVs fail emissions because they vent to atmosphere. I'm surprised Greddy hasn't gotten a BOV equipped kit CARB legalized, all it should take it is a couple hoses.

making stuff carb exempt isn't so hard as the tech and r & d into it. I remember reading about this, but it is crazy expensive to get something carb exempt, and not only that, it takes a super long time.

"as soon as you mod the greddy it becomes street illegal, that means intercooler, external wastegate etc. If you want a lot of power it will not pass smog."

forgot to mention that im in cali, and we have the strictest smog regulations. might be able to get away with some of these things in other states but im not sure.

Question: I live in Florida where we do not have this emission testing mumbo jumbo.

Is there a certain time you must take your car to an emission testing facility like once a month or something?

Cali is going to switch from traditional emissions testing to dyno testing pretty soon.
