Default turbo ?

OK, I am planning to swap an H22A into my EG Civic. Now my question is will I be able to fit a turbo in that tight of a space? Whether it be a T03/T04 or a big T88. Do they make superchargers for the 92-96 Prelude motors? I havent seen one yet but if anyone has seen something, lemme know. I would like to go forced induction with the H22A but if it wont work, I'll have to settle for the torqueless GSR(as compared to the H22A) and go forced induction with that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

It wll fit with a custom manifold. And Jackson Racing makes a supercharger for the motor. If you want a manifold made, I can get you one with the turbo you want. I say t3/t4, just let me know what other mods your doing and I can custom make it.

with a custom manifold, you will still lose air conditioning.

if it doesnt interfere with the ac compressor, it will still interfere with the heat exchanger and fan. you'll need to upgrade the cooling system to handle the H22... if you go turbo, a Fluidyne radiator for Civics will be required, as an Integra/full size radiator will become a clearance issue again.

JR does make a blower for the H22, but it wont fit your civic due to firewall clearance. firewall clearance is one of the reasons why JR only has one for the 1997+ Preludes... the jackshaft and belt drive setup will also not fit between the wheelwells on a civic.
