Default I want 300 hp! Give me some setups

Give me any setup you think will produce 300+ whp.

I want a safe, reliable setup. If possible, something that could be a daily driver, so no insane compression.

Give me your choice of motor, turbo, injectors, ecu.... And some prices ofcourse....

I'm at 250 with a turbo. My setup is in the sticky at the top of this forum. I've done some stuff since then handling and brakewise, but you get the gist for the engine. I'll hit 300 easily when I swap my motor out for one that doesn't have blowby, piston slap and a 2.25" exhaust.

I was going to say get a Hemi V8.... but you then said safe, reliable setup.

Are you looking to have 300hp all the time? Cause some shots of n2o when needed could help a lot... for when you need it. :naughty:

n20 is cool and all, but i'd rather show off a massive turbo than a tank....

B18C1, DRAG III or comparable turbo kit, Hondata, 10~12psi, Dyno time or street wideband tuning..... 300whp shouldn't be too much trouble for a compitent tuner.

That should be a daily drivable setup. You could keep the boost low(6 psi) for daily driving purposes, and crank it to 10 or so for the track.

It's gonna take 12psi or more on a GSR to hit 300 whp. Most at 12 psi are around 280.

Not bad, what kind of pistons would you suggest?

How about an LS motor? Those are usually pretty nice with turbos.

What kind of money am I looking to drop on a full turbo kit (EVERYTHING, including intercooler)?
The motor price I got down, I simply have no idea on what I would be spending on a turbo.

I was also looking into getting about 250 hp out of my hatch. I was looking into a JDM b16 and turboing it, but my only problem would be passing emissions. I live in IL, do you guys have any suggestions as to how I would be able to pass them?

Dave.

LS/Vtec Turboed would probably hit 300+ easily with internals and regular bolt ons.

If you had a choice between a B18B and B18C1, for turbo. Sure, the LS motor can safely take a healthy amount of boost, but between the 2 motors, the VTEC motor will make more power with the same amount of boost.
