A wise man once said 'Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?' That said, realistically, it will probably cost around a thousand bucks if you've got the Ls motor and tranny. You'll also need among other things a complete vtec head (which I happen to have for sale!). A basic sight to start with would be http://www.angelfire.com/dc/lsvtec/2019.html, but you can find many resources on the web and on this message board, just search for LsVtec.

In addition to the parts listed in the link above, I would consider VTEC oiling components and a properly dowelled-in block girdle if you want OEM-like reliability.

b16 heads are nice to use for your conversion, however the cams are junk. put somthing like crower stage 2 in it, but to do this you need to get valves, retainers and some outher work to the head. i am also curently building an ls/vtec.
